Hong Kong is our home, and we are heartbroken for the Tai Po community after last night’s devastating fire. In addition to the lives tragically lost, numerous families are now without homes and essential resources as they begin to rebuild.
Our song has always been about community and that commitment compels us to take action, no matter how small, to help those affected. Across Black Sheep, we will begin by implementing the following initiatives:
$100,000 Donation from the Black Sheep Family Fund
The Black Sheep Family Fund will donate $100,000 upfront to support relief efforts for the Tai Po community.
Matching Donations to Feeding Hong Kong
From now until 31 December, we will include an optional $10 donation with checks across all Black Sheep restaurants, with every dollar matched by the Black Sheep Family Fund and allocated to Feeding Hong Kong for Tai Po relief.
Hot Meal Deliveries
As recovery efforts continue, we will be preparing hot meals for delivery to support families who have been displaced.
If you would like to contribute directly to this cause, donations can be made here
Every contribution will go directly toward helping the Tai Po community rebuild.

Punjab Emergency Flood Relief
From 26 September through 2 October, join us at New Punjab Club for a special Punjab Flood Emergency Relief menu crafted by Chefs Palash Mitra and Chhabil Sidhu. Every dollar spent will be matched by Black Sheep to support the farmers of Punjab on both sides of the border.
Long before outsiders drew a line in 1947, Punjab was one soil, one people, bound by five great rivers. Those rivers never recognised India or Pakistan, only the fields and families they nourished. Today, flood waters devastate the region, leaving 4,500 villages in ruin, and over 2.5 million acres of farmland flooded or destroyed. Tragedy does not care about borders. But neither does hospitality.
Punjab’s story is Black Sheep’s story. It lives in our Founder Asim’s roots, in our team’s families, and in New Punjab Club, the world’s first and only MICHELIN-starred Punjabi restaurant, where we express our love for Punjab with the world.
Hospitality is not just about tables and dining rooms; it is about taking care of people in their time of need. And we ask for your support to remind the people of Punjab that they are not alone.
